The Caroma is a nifty little stainless steel vent diffuser for your car, a breeze to use and both cute and functional. Perfect to enjoy pure plant aromas in the car (or other small spaces). And perfect to combat the dreaded smellies in the tropics, doggie smells, or in hot times anywhere! 

There's no need to worry about spilling essential oil over your car. These beautiful Tree of Life or Hearts diffusers are made to use with a highly absorbent pad that fits snugly inside. Simply open the magnetic diffuser lid, add about 10 drops of essential oil to the pad inside, close and clip onto the vent. The car fan blows air through the diffuser holes.  

What essential oil to choose? We suggest citrus based aromas that are fresh, energizing or uplifting. Ali's favourite is the fresh Honey Myrtle & Lime or perhaps another fresh onesuch as Light Heart. Choose Bush Breathe  if there are colds & flu about. You could also choose singles such as Blood Orange, Grapefruit, May Chang, Lemon Myrtle, or Lemon. For those wanting something to calm the kids, perhaps Welcome Home, or Peace. For something a little more floral, what about Radiance, Welcome Home or Cable Beach Sunset? And the latter evokes that tropical holiday feel of Broome, for those who miss it terribly. It is our alltime most popular blend and we are honoured to hear it referred to so often as "the smell of Broome"!

Cleaner's Joy is D'Limonene, sometimes known as 'Spirits of Orange', an entirely natural biodegradable product made from citrus rinds. It's a clear concentrated fluid. Think of it as orange essential oil with the orange colour and any pulp taken out.  

Hidden Valley is keen to limit the use of toxic chemicals in the home, and recommends the use of simple old fashioned cleaners such as vinegar, bicarbonate of soda, beeswax and D'limonene.

Used neat it is a fabulous solvent for anything sticky such as glues and gums, and is a direct safer substitute for other organic solvents. We like to add a few drops to the water used to clean tile floors and various surfaces. It is non-reactive on metal surfaces. And it smells wonderful! Just like oranges.

Our re-useable personal inhalers are an easy way to use pure essential oils in everyday life. They are small, portable, and convenient. Take them out, in a purse or travel bag, and use at work, home, your bedside...They are made of metal with internal wicks, and we supply instructions for use.

Our sense of smell is connected to the region of the brain that controls memories, emotions and hormones. This makes the method of inhaling aromatherapy oils very powerful. Inhalers can provide easy natural help for many ailments such as headaches, sinus and respiratory congestion, energy & focus, insomnia, anxiety and stress.

To use: simply unscrew the top, remove the cotton wick with tweezers, place 7-15 drops of pure essential oils of your choice in the glass chamber, replace the wick, screw the top back on and put the lid back. For children use only 4-8 drops. This should last 1-2 months, depending how often it is used.  Place the inhaler near the nostrils and breathe deeply. A good practice is to count to 5 on the inhale, hold for 2, then count to 7 on the exhale.

We sell polysorbate 20, a solubuliser for mists, room & linen sprays and dissolving essential oils in water. This is an innocuous product which makes sprays really easy to make for yourself.

For Room Sprays:

Choose your essential oil or essential oil blend and find a spray bottle (eg. from Bunnings, we also sell one here) mix really well with equal or up to 3 times as much quantity of solubuliser, then add water.

For example, for a 2.5% room spray in 100ml spray container, add 2.5mls (50 drops or 1/2 teaspoon) essential oil plus 2.5-7.5mls solubuliser (we would add 5 mls).  Mix really well, then top up with filtered water. Different essential oils require different amounts of solubuliser to turn the solution clear.  If you dont mind your spray looking a little milky, then the amount of solubuliser doesn't matter. The key thing is to mix essential oil & solubuliser VERY WELL before adding water.
