All you need except the colourful fabrics to make your own eco-friendly beeswax food wraps, replacing cling film for storage of food.

This kit contains 100  grams beeswax, 60 gm gum rosin (helps make it flexible and sticky) and 30 ml jojoba oil (to soften with an oil which wont go rancid). Full instructions are provided, also tips for using, and care and maintenance. This amount will make 7-10 wraps, depending on the size you choose.  Find your own fabrics from remnants, calico, old sheets or clothes, or new bright quilting fabrics. 100% cotton is best, with close weave. Lighter colours dont show the wax as much.

Cleaner's Joy is D'Limonene, sometimes known as 'Spirits of Orange', an entirely natural biodegradable product made from citrus rinds. It's a clear concentrated fluid. Think of it as orange essential oil with the orange colour and any pulp taken out.  

Hidden Valley is keen to limit the use of toxic chemicals in the home, and recommends the use of simple old fashioned cleaners such as vinegar, bicarbonate of soda, beeswax and D'limonene.

Used neat it is a fabulous solvent for anything sticky such as glues and gums, and is a direct safer substitute for other organic solvents. We like to add a few drops to the water used to clean tile floors and various surfaces. It is non-reactive on metal surfaces. And it smells wonderful! Just like oranges.

Luxury ceramic mist essential oil diffuser with an elegant matte finished ceramic shell and a light woodgrain base.

500g mixed Hidden Valley soap offcuts, unchopped, ideal for making soap mitts (try our Soap Saver), or soap sachets, or even laundry soap in soft water areas. Some slices or pieces are big enough for guest soaps. Some people simply fill a bowl as pot pourri to scent a room. Others squish them together, or give them to the kids (less wasted in the water!).

These are the slices and pieces that are cut off the sides of our large blocks when they pass through our cutting machine. They have been cured (dried).
