This is a light and gentle moisturiser, designed especially for normal to oily, acneous or combination skins. It also makes a lovely hand cream. The calendula infused oil and extract in it helps heal any skin problems. (We love calendula, the ancient faithful healing herb for skin problems.)

Purified water, almond, calendula, jojoba and evening primrose oils, witch hazel, glycerine, vegetable derived emulsifying wax, Vitamin E, calendula extract, phenonip, pure essential oils of lavender (Tasmanian), geranium, palma rosa, may chang, chamomile and WA sandalwood.

The cream is supplied in inert glass tubs. Use a spatula to extend shelf life.

A facial cream designed initially for the parched, dry skin that can plague Kimberley residents during the Dry Season. Use it whenever your skin feels really dry. The richest of the non-organic facial moisturisers, with the heaviest oil component and lovely emollient ingredients. Now redesigned with a natural preservative, olive squalane, and a softer fragrance.

We also use this emulsion in our Pearl soap, giving it a wonderful silky texture.

Apricot Kernel oil helps to improve skin tone, maintain softness and radiance of the skin. It also nourishes the skin and lowers the appearance of face wrinkles, fine lines and blemishes, Rice bran oil provides healthy fats and a variety of other nutrients, Rosehip oil is rich in essential fatty acids and antioxidants, which are integral for tissue and cell regeneration in the skin. It's no wonder that the oil has long been used as a folk remedy for wound healing, as well as the reduction of scars and fine lines, Borage oil has both antioxidant and anti-inflammatory effects, Jojoba oil is an extremely effective natural moisturiser and works for all skin types and is great for nourishing, hydrating and soothing skin. Olive Squalane is highly valued for its aid in moisturising and deeply hydrating the skin, hair, and body without leaving a greasy, oily finish, and Vitamin E is widely known for its benefits for skin health and appearance. to reduce inflammation and make your skin look younger. 

Apply a few drops to damp face after cleansing and gently massage in.

From our Rejuvenate range is our pure, rich and effective organic moisturiser designed for women like ourselves, who have mature or dry skin.  We spent a long time deciding on the very purest and most effective ingredients for our precious "Women of Wisdom".

This range is jam-packed with nourishing, replenishing ingredients and we have been thrilled with the results we have experienced ourselves. Our natural preservative system is something we are pleased with as we can avoid the dangers associated with many other systems for preserving the quality of products.

Ingredients: 

• Eco Cert (France) approved olive emulse wax, gentle and plant-based
• Pure organic skin nuturing carrier oils – camellia, jojoba, evening primrose oil and rosehip, all chosen for their skin nurturing properties
• Pure organic, skin loving and heart nourishing hydrosol – the pure fragrant water from the distillation of essential oils rose damascena, best in the world
• Organic plant extracts which are anti-ageing, strengthening, elasticising, and antioxidant – Ginseng, Gotu Kola, Gingko Biloba, Olive leaf and Rice
• Soothing emollients & cleansers – organic shea butter, olive squalane, Lamesoft (coco glucoside & glyceryl oleate), sucrose fatty acid esters, hydrolyzed oat protein and yucca extract to enhance cleansing and to support the lipid layer of skin, keeping it supple. We use no harsh or foaming surfactants.

Only a tiny amount is needed of this rich, packed full of goodies cream – apply according to the level of dryness or humidity and the condition of skin. Generally a thin layer is adequate. Apply to entire face, being careful to pat around eye area and avoid drag.

A luxurious but light, easily absorbed facial moisturiser for normal to dry or mature skin. This cream uses beautiful but expensive Rosa damascena, the best rose of all. We have recently improved the formula with olive squalane and Naticide, a natural, though costly, preservative.

Purified water, organic rose hydrosol, cold pressed macadamia, apricot kernal, rosehip, jojoba and evening primrose oils, olive squalane, Vitamin E, shea butter, purified water, Ewax, glycerine, fragrance (natural preservative), pure essential oils of rose (Bulgarian damascena), sandalwood, frankincense, geranium and palma rosa.

A gentle,  luxurious oil blend designed to encourage skin cell regeneration in the treatment of scarring after surgery or accident, burns or just mature skin with environmental damage. Hence it doubles as a superb moisturiser if a few drops are applied to a damp face after cleansing.

The major ingredient is rosehip oil, a renowned cell regenerator, together with healing calendula infused oil and penetrating jojoba. We then add lots of anti-oxidant Vitamin E and some really beautiful cicatrizant and healing pure essential oils.

Apply sparingly to damp skin and gently massage in.

A gentle fragrance-free, nut-free, vegan facial moisturiser for ultra sensitive skin, with beautiful avocado oil, rosewater, olive squalane and mixed weights sodium hyaluronate. 

Contains - Pure Bulgarian rosa damascena hydrosol, avocado oil,  olive squalane, vegetable derived emulsifying wax made inhouse, vegetable glycerine, organic shea butter, sodium hyaluronate (multiple molecular weights), Vitamin E, phenoxyethanol + ethylhexylgycerin (preservative).

Super Serum is our ultimate serum for hydration, moisturising, replenishing and repairing skin.  It incorporates a multitude of goodies and we are excited to present our finest ever ingredients for skincare in one serum.  This serum will be helpful for all ages, but particularly older people who may have lowered natural hydration, skin cell replacement, collagen production and have the most skin damage.

It has been our experience to feel a difference after just a few daily applications - skin stays hydrated, smooth and elastic all day.  We would love to hear what you think of it!

How was it developed?

One day in the Luscious Ladies’ Lab Ali was truly inspired by the beautiful ingredients surrounding her: the mix of local boab and gubinge (Kakadu plum) oils so rich in vitamin C and long-term anti-wrinkle use by indigenous women, the Vitamins C ,B and E in the fridge, the amazing forms of hyaluronic acid now available to replenish what occurs naturally in younger skin, the olive squalane so like skin sebum, allantoin (an ancient skin soother from comfrey), aloe juice, beautiful pure rosewater hydrosol and the soothing healing extracts of calendula and chamomile, our wonderful orange Co-enzyme Q10, and the best essential oils for skin.

“Let’s just put all these best-of-the-best ingredients for anti-aging facial skin care together in a Super Serum!”

And so it was born.

We couldn’t believe the name hadn’t been widely used already. And we tested widely (on ourselves, human animals only!), with fabulous results.  A word on hyaluronic – it occurs naturally in healthy skin but is produced more slowly as we age, and it holds over 1000 times its weight in moisture, so you can just imagine the hydration effect it provides. A squirt or two after cleansing in the morning seems to keep skin soft, moist, hydrated all day long!

Update October 2021

We have reformulated the Super Serum with all the same wonderful active ingredients but a different emulsifying/gelling system to make it more stable in hot weather. The gellant we were using was a sophisticated one from the cooler northern hemisphere and just wasnt coping over time - separation began to occur, and could be repaired by shaking the container but was still not good enough in our view. So we have dropped this gellant and reformulated with a super mild natural emulsifier (cetearyl olivate + sorbitan olivate) with natural xanthan gum. We think it's much better.  Let us know!

Active Ingredients:

Pure rosa damascena hydrosol (cooling, mildly astringent and suitable for dry, mature, sensitive and devitalised skin),

Vitamins B,C & E, Kimberley cold pressed Boab oil (reputed by Kimberley locals to diminish wrinkles)

Hyaluronic acid (the most effective natural humectant known, which holds 1000 times its weight in water!) We use a liquid multiplex version which contains all molecular weights from low to very high, so the effects include deep rehydration (low) to dense invisible protective film forming (high).

Allantoin (soothes and exfoliates dead skin cells)

Aloe juice (cooling)

Olive squalane (closest to natural skin sebum)

Gubinge in jojoba oil (high Vitamin C and penetration aiding jojoba)

Co-enzyme Q-10 (powerful naturally occurring anti-oxidant reducing skin damage and improving skin hydration)

Chamomile & calendula extracts (anti-inflammatory, soothing & healing)

Beautiful pure essential oils of rose otto (the best!), frankincense, myrrh, helichrysum, rose geranium, palma rosa & German chamomile.
